I have been a Bowen Therapist since 2002. I run a thriving Bowen Clinic in the heart of Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds. As an experienced and reputable Bowen Therapist, I have a number of clients who choose to complete up to a 120 mile round trip to see me and am often the person other therapists choose to see when they need a treatment!
I run a very sucessful children's clinic in Bury and am the Bowen Children's Clinic Co-Ordinator for the Bowen Therapists Professional Association (BTPA), providing advice, guidance and support to almost 40 clinics throughout the UK as well as writing regular articles for the Bowen InTouch magazine.
Bowen is now one of the fastest growing therapies in Europe and is suitable for men, women and children of all ages, as well as those who are pregnant, disabled or elderly.
Bowen may be able to help you, if you suffer from:
HORMONE IMBALANCE / SYMPTOMS OF "THE CHANGE"
HEADACHES / MIGRAINE
ASTHMA / RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS
BLOCKED SINUSES ... to name but a few!
On the first appointment a detailed medical history is taken, in order that the treatment can be tailored to your individual needs. Then each week a comparison is made to establish how your body is responding.
I use a series of gentle rolling movements with thumbs and fingers, over muscle, ligaments and soft tissue, which help re-balance your body, relieve pain and reduce tension. Most clients consider deeply relaxing and enjoyable experience! It is amazing how something so gentle can have such a profound effect on the body without the need to "click" or "crack" bones, as with some other therapies. Bowen works holistically and simply triggers the body to re-align and heal itself.
